How does setup work?
Install from the Pipedrive Marketplace, pick a UK number in the app, and you’re making calls in minutes. No hardware, no SIP forms, no engineer visit.
What numbers can I get?
UK mobile and UK local numbers, chosen in-app. Each user gets one included; extras are £3 a month on the public rate card.
Where is my data?
Calls, texts, recordings and transcripts are stored encrypted in AWS’s UK/EU regions. The details live in our privacy policy.
Can I bring my existing number?
Number porting is planned. If you need it, tell us — it moves up the list.
Click-to-dial in Pipedrive does nothing — what’s wrong?
Pipedrive routes call clicks to one calling app at a time. In Pipedrive, go to Tools and apps → Phone calls, pick Totally Called as the default calling app, then reload the page.
The dialler can’t hear me.
Your browser needs microphone access — allow the mic prompt when the dialler first opens. If you dismissed it, open your browser’s site settings for Pipedrive (the padlock icon in the address bar), allow the microphone, and reload.
The softphone says I’m offline.
That usually means setup isn’t finished — you don’t have a phone number or caller ID yet. The Finish setup button in the app walks you through it in a couple of minutes.
My calls and texts aren’t appearing in Pipedrive.
Most often your Pipedrive connection needs a refresh — go to Settings and reconnect Pipedrive. If anything is still missing afterwards, email us and we’ll put it right.
Why is my new number “pending review”?
Some countries require a regulatory review of your business details before a number goes fully live — typically 1–5 business days. Outbound calling works in the meantime, and inbound unlocks automatically once the review is approved.
Why can’t my number send texts?
Not every number type carries SMS: UK local numbers are voice-only, while UK mobile numbers can call and text. You can check any number’s capabilities in Settings → Numbers, and pick an SMS-capable type if you need texting.
Can I call other countries?
Not yet. International calling is switched off until we publish international rates — we only launch prices we can print. If you need a specific country, email us and we’ll prioritise it.
What happens when my trial ends?
The trial runs 14 days. If it ends without a card on file, there’s no surprise cutoff: inbound calls keep working for another 7 days, and your numbers are held for 60 days — plenty of time to subscribe and carry on where you left off.
How do call recording and consent work?
Recording is off until you switch it on in Settings. When it’s on, callers hear a consent announcement before recording starts. The recording appears on the call’s Pipedrive activity a few minutes after the call ends — that short delay is normal.
The panel is blank inside Pipedrive.
Reload the Pipedrive page first — that fixes most cases. If it persists, a browser extension may be blocking the embedded panel: try allowing Pipedrive in your ad or privacy blocker, or another browser. Still stuck? Email us a screenshot and we’ll dig in.
